\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Our official supporters’ group \u2013 the<\/span> Quicksilver<\/em> Corporate Club \u2013 <\/span><\/span><\/span>was formed primarily for small- and medium-sized <\/span><\/strong>businesses, but it is <\/span>also open to private<\/span> i<\/span><\/strong>ndividuals, who<\/span> make up over one-fifth of the membership.<\/strong><\/span><\/div>\n
\u00a0<\/div>\n
\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 The Corporate Club has been a focal-point for interest in Quicksilver<\/em> and a dynamo for its continued progress, with almost 350 members <\/span>having joined thus far. <\/span><\/span><\/strong>We stage<\/strong> <\/strong><\/span>a unique series of gatherings<\/span>, literally <\/span>alongside the Quicksilver<\/em> craft as it is built, with<\/span> members and their <\/span><\/span>guests having unprecedented access to our challenge to make water-speed<\/span> history!<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/div>\n
\u00a0<\/div>\n
\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 C<\/span><\/strong>orporate Club members pay a one-off fee of \u00a3395. Their names are proudly <\/span>displayed on the outer skin of Quicksilver<\/em>, and also on the framed<\/span> membership certificates presented to each Corporate Club member.<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/div>\n
\u00a0<\/div>\n
\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Members receive invitations to the special events we hold alongside the boat<\/span> at our team HQ at East Midlands Airport \u2013 next to the M1, in the <\/span>centre of England \u2013 where<\/span> a complimentary buffet<\/span> lunch with <\/span>refreshments<\/span> is served.<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/div>\n
\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/div>\n
\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 There are no further charges of any kind, at any time, for either members or their guests after the one-off membership fee has been<\/span> paid\u00a0\u2013 and companies and self-employed people can offset this fee<\/span> against<\/span> tax, as it counts as advertising and promotion of their business.<\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/div>\n

\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Membership of the Quicksilver<\/em> Corporate Club is a unique differentiator <\/span>for businesses in today’s competitive marketplace … Businesses invite<\/span> customers, suppliers or personnel to Corporate Club events for memorable, informative visits, and to network \u2013 they can also invite<\/span> reporters from their local or trade-sector press. Private individuals <\/span>invite family and friends.<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/div>\n

As well as over 250<\/span> businesses in both the manufacturing and service sectors \u2013<\/span> predominantly owner-managed businesses, SMEs and self-employed people, but also several major PLCs \u2013 the membership includes two<\/span> schools, several<\/span> distinguished membership-based professional <\/span>institutions, and even a town council.<\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/div>\n
